Ty McCormick

SOUS CHEF

Originally from Valley, Alabama, Ty discovered his passion for cooking during his first back-of-house venture at Texas Roadhouse in Montgomery. He later used the skills and knowledge acquired from Texas Roadhouse to grow his career and attained positions in multiple kitchens within the Montgomery area. During his time at Blackfinn Ameripub, Ty was promoted to Key Manager, where he developed strong leadership skills and was later introduced to the Vintage Hospitality Group, who quickly took notice of Ty's talents and passion for cooking.


When asked why he enjoys cooking, Ty says, "I enjoy cooking because of the satisfaction I get from someone enjoying my food. Considering I’ve never gone to school for it and didn’t come from a cooking family or background, that just makes me happy. I also enjoy the artistic side of food. Plating is probably my favorite part of it all. At the end of the day, I want to excel in this field and become someone my son will be proud of in the future."


Ty is excited to lead the team at Ravello Ristorante as Sous Chef. Outside of work, Ty enjoys numismatics, drawing, and he is an avid music fan
